Kamikazee at SM San Fernando Pampanga

Did some girlfriend duties again today - I tagged along while dude watched his flavor of the year band - Kamikazee.

Kamikazee, from what I’ve heard, was influenced by the comic mainstream band Parokya ni Edgar (Edgar is not the vocalist of this band, Chito is). And Kamikazee definitely resembles PNE’s style sans Jay Contreras’ (Kamikazee’s vocalist) too-hyper moves.

I liked what I saw but not what heard since I’m not much into too much screaming. But because dude falls in love with just any band that makes him a candidate for hearing aids, I endured the show. Fortunately, Jay mentioned that he is from San Fernando, Pampanga. I’m so clannish that I totally forgot about the offensiveness of his screaming (vs singing).

My only regret though is not being able to hold out my hunger for dude to be able to get his Maharot CD signed. Too much for being a good girlfriend!
