Learn and Earn from a Finance Forum

// May 11th, 2007

This is a sponsored review.

college financingThere is a wide variety of forums that I’d like to be a part of such as forums on SEO, personal development, and finance-related forums. But unfortunately, I don’t have much time to participate on forums anymore in as much as I’d like to. But I still visit forums to simply read.

The Finance Forums is one that I got to visit today. It is a fairly new forum with still a quite impressive number of users 1,113 as of this writing.

As expected from a personal finance forum it has threads on debt, mortgage, credit cards, real estate, etc. Although many of the topics or forum threads discuss common financial advice, one discussion that I think got the best of advice bits is a problem regarding bankruptcy.

The number of forum members - active posters ratio is not so good since it only shows an average of two posts per member which is too low if the ideal ratio is 20 per member. But I commend the administrator, Bryan, for being quite active. There are also a number of threads with not much updates going on.

But the good thing about this forum is its support for revenue sharing. It allows its members to earn from AdSense by making the members add their publisher ID to the field at the bottom of their profile. According to the forum admin, the AdSense revenue has a 25% of going to the thread starter and a 25% chance of going to the last poster.
