Typhoid Fever and Nightmares

My younger brother was diagnosed with typhoid fever a few days ago. Typhoid fever is caused by the Salmonella typhi bacteria harbored by contaminated water and food. He’s a fan of street food so no one’s wondering why he got Typhoid fever.

After almost passing out last night, he got confined in Dr. Armando Garcia Medical Center for less than 24 hours. He was discharged a few hours ago as per his doctor’s advice.

The thing is we let him get confined because he looked so deserving of a bedrest, which he can’t have if he’s not stuck with a dextrose. However, he didn’t get his much-needed rest because my youngest brother who was left to assist him in the hospital woke him up in the middle of night thinking my ill brother was having a nightmare. Turned out he’s just snoring so loudly my youngest brother can’t help but wake him up to get some peace.

Poor guys. Tsk.
