Pinays to Climb Mt. Everest

The first Filipina team composed of Janet Belarmino, Carina Dayondon and Noelle Wenceslao are ready to battle the turbulence of ice and cold and the high altitudes of Mt. Everest. They have trained for the climbed and did all the necessary preparation to get to the top of the mountain.

If the team completes their quest, they would be the first Filipina team to get to the top of Mt. Everest. This is a very historic event for all Filipinas out there. That we, could also do what other citizens of the world could do and other race could do and that these women have the strength to withstand the difficulties of climbing such a difficult trek.

They have completed their training, packed their gear and said their prayers - and now the three Filipina mountaineers are ready to climb the top of Mt. Everest.
