What’s With Stripes?

Went to SM Pampanga a few days ago doing some girlfriend duties. And while at the mall, I checked out some girlie shops - Bayo, Kamiseta, and Freeway. As usual, whatever one shop is selling, 99% the other shops sell it, too.

It’s the return of stripes on long tops (those retro blouses worn with wide belts). I remember my Technology and Home Economics teacher telling our class that stripes are not for not-too slender people. And although I’m one of them, I still bought one. Not because it’s the fad but because I fell in love with the princess sleeves and presko fabric of this particular striped shirt.

I’m thinking it will even look even better on me when I get pregnant. Ooops.
