Pampanga and Angeles City Festivities

There’s the Tigtigan Terakan keng Dalan, Sisig Festival Sadsaran keng Dalan, Sinukwan Festival, and just yesterday Ligligan Parul or Giant Lantern Festival. I’ve gone to most of these events and guess what I’ve noticed? They’re now all held at the major malls either SM or Robinson’s. 

Really, is everything now just about monetization? Ads by Google. Just kidding!

Although it might be pretty convenient that the malls have ready facilities for these events, but can’t we have less-commercialized town events? I’m getting tired of the banners and whatchamacallits giant product balloons. Don’t we have funds for these events to take place even without too many blatant ads from sponsors? Just asking.
