Counting my Blessings 2006

Comment now » // December 12th, 2006

Although this year was full of annoying pimple and stye invasion, this year is one of my most fun ones, esp. career-wise.

So what should I be thankful this year?

A healthy and still neurotic family who battled it out with too many backbreaking and bank-breaking events. Friends whom I rarely see but I know are always there asking when’s the next meet-up.

I realized I made a wise decision leaving the university I worked for as a laboratory technician and settled into starting from scratch going solo with my SEO article writing gig. Aside from the multi-tasking kills I’m slowly honing, I get to learn how to practice diplomacy when dealing with clients and contract workers. Gaining trust and trusting, too. Also, although I haven’t been able to strictly follow my financial plan, I can now afford to be more flexible in implementing it.

A nice addition to our family, Mikee, keeps everyone sane and insane at the same time. May she stay healthy and grow up smart like his Dad, just kidding, God forbid! :D

Moi and Dadi J have reached the relationship plateau, which is something good because I’m not known to be good in maintaining less-rocky relationships, any relationship, ok! I can get bored easily, that’s all.

So there. Have you counted your blessings for this year yet?
