Consequences of an Emergency PC Reformat

// September 15th, 2006

What pushed me into accomplishing most of my to-do’s are actually the circumstances. Fate nudged me into getting things done!

I’ve been putting off getting my computer checked by the technician because I can’t just afford to lose a few hours not checking my e-mail inbox and downloading files since it’s crunch time. But what can I do, my poor computer crashed. So there. It finally got fixed but not without overspending - I allowed the new technician to make me pay twice the actual worth of his service just because I’m so in a hurry. From Windows 98, which I’ve grown to love in thickness and in thin I’ve again upgraded to Windows XP - which I think is one too uservirus-friendly an OS.

One good consequence of getting my PC reformatted is that I finally was able to arrange my favorites or bookmarked sites - the tools of my trade. Don’t you just get annoyed when you remember bookmarking one website that you know you’ll be needing soon just to find out it’s like your looking for a needle in a haystack because of your less than O.C. skills in bookmarking? Now I so love how I organized my bookmarked sites.

And I also thank myself for putting my PC in the hands of a technician for a few hours since it gave me time to finally acquire another investment - Comclark Surestream Cable Internet. It’s a really big relief for me because dialup’s intermittent connection had been spiking my blood pressure!

In conclusion, was it good that I had finally got my 5-year-old computer fixed? DEFINITELY!
