Reason Behind Google as Isulong SEOPH’s Official Search Engine

Perhaps it’s from one of the Isulong SEOPH participants or SEO Philippines mailing list that I’ve read about why Google as Isulong SEOPH’s search engine of choice.

Here’s some interesting read that will lead to the very reason behind choosing Google as the Isulong SEOPH contest’s search engine, or for any SEO contest for that matter.

MSN is too quick to rank and Yahoo is nowhere near as good as Google in determining the goodness of a link, which reminds me of my bad link confusion.

In short, since Google is more thorough (pihikan ang lola!) in which among the Isulong SEOPH sites she will prioritize, ranking well with Google is hell a lot more challenging than targetting other search engines. And, just like any other contests, Isulong SEOPH will definitely be more exciting if getting on top will make one break a sweat.
