Learning How to Isulong the SEOPH

// June 5th, 2006

Was sulking yesterday about how the techie participants drive me nuts regarding their SEO techniques for the Isulong SEOPH stint. Thanks to the good soul of Manuel Viloria for trying to de-clutter my understanding of the jibberish stuff the SEO Philippines’ members were discussing.

I mentioned a few days ago that I’m using some teenybopper tactics but I don’t think it’s working. Yesterday that I checked my Google results I was on the 26th spot now I’m on the 29th, tomorrow I’ll go kaput!

Ok, I have to stop this pointless self-pitying talk. What makes this contest worth the effort is not only the prize, it’s the knowledge that one gains while trying to win. So finally here’s the justification for the post title:

Aside from begging for links which I stink at, I have read that one way to keep the search engines mesmerized is to consistently provide relevant content, which is I’m not doing quite well either. Also, I’m trying to trick the search engines by putting RSS on this blog. For the uninitiated RSS means really simple syndication which I won’t be able to explain thus the link. But of course to my dismay when I tried to embed the RSS with Technorati feeds for Isulong SEOPH keyphrase it destroyed the layout of my poor blog. So I had to get rid of it. That’s what I get for trying to do “dark blackhat” SEO. Hey guys that’s my own non-geek speak for my own bad SEO techniques so spare me the misnomer chorva.

I also have learned something about the youtube mania and so here’s my niece trying to help me do the isulong seoph campaign, or so I thought.

Watch how my baby niece finds my Isulong SEOPH effort.

Another noteworthy event - SEO Philippines’ president Mr. Marc Hil Macalua mentioned my “to no avail” attempt to win the Isulong SEOPH contest. I’m not usually pessimistic but that sounds like I’m not yet midway the race but I’m already hurled with consolation links. Haha!
