About the Author
My name is Alfa Mercado, a Filipina in her mid-twenties whose bread and butter is to serve as Internet marketers’ and virtual assistants’ assistant.
I tried to brave three 9-to-5 jobs (as a pharmaceutical lab QA at Lafayette Pharmaceuticals Lab, Inc., as an educational laboratory technician in Angeles University Foundation Biology Dept., as a project supervisor of XtenServ Solutions, a small business offering virtual assistance services) before deciding to put up my own home based business - which I still haven’t given a name to.
I love reading female biographies and anything authored by Sidney Sheldon. Interior design magazines can de-stress me, too. Like majority of the female species, shopping is one of my favorite past times aside from parlor appointments.
I’ve never become a cellphone slave because I’ve gone crazy trying to understand and got tired correcting spelling that my text-lingo-obsessed friends and family succumbed to. Instead, I call, blog and use GTalk to communicate.
Speaking of blogs, since my college days (2002), blogging has become my favorite form of expression. Now I’m also using this type of new media to build my business.
Oh and I chose to get out of the rat race as soon as the bundy clock didn’t agree with my biological clock, thus the blog title “Apple Door Says NO to Bundy Clocks.”
About this Blog
Apple Door Says NO to Bundy Clocks is my effort to share some information to people who would like to test the waters of working at home and stay successful in doing it. I occasionally post home based job openings that I come across so you may want to grab my feed for updates.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or you’d like to work with me, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
