Google is Punishing TLA Publishers through PageRank Decrease
I can’t believe my eyes when I glanced upon my pagerank toolbar today and saw that this blog went down from PR3 to PR2. From what I’ve accomplished with this blog for the past few months - more frequent posting and more linkbacks, I actually expected the pagerank to increase.
Cashquests’ post about Google penalizing link sellers popped into my head and when I checked out the state of the blogosphere if there more cases of this type, I whew-ed when I’ve learned that it’s not just me. Here are other bloggers’ pagerank decrease mentions:

But you know what? I have noticed that my Google-referred traffic is actually doing great. So I’m not really worried about that. I just hope that Text-Link-Ads will modify its blog appraisal tool.

I’ve noticed that my page rank has also decreased. Hopefully this wont be a long term problem for publishers that have TLA on their blogs.

@ Paul
To solve this problem, TLA, if wise enough, will modify its metrics.
