Text-Link-Ads Turned AuctionAds to ShoppingAds
After discovering this sweet news from TLA’s Patrick Gavin a few minutes ago, I can’t help myself but to blog about it right away.
Text-Link-Ads launched its CPC ad program called ShoppingAds. This not-so-new ad program (it’s AuctionAds re-programmed) will show image ads with a text description on a blog. Each time a visitor clicks on the ad, you will get paid 20 cents on average.
ShoppingAds is more lovable than AuctionAds because of the pay-per-click model. AuctionAds didn’t entice me because it’s NOT PPC. But now that TLA turned this frog into a prince, I’m kissing it. Huh?
Kidding aside, payout will be sent through PayPal only for this month. Although it will offer other payment methods next month, this time I didn’t have to wait because PayPal Philippines is here!
If you’re wondering if it will violate the AdSense TOS, no it won’t. That’s according to the email announcement.

How does this seem to be performing for you? I’ve noticed that the Ads are not relevant to the site.

Hi Paul,
So far, as expected with the non-contextual ads, it’s not converting well. But I’m giving it a few more weeks and check out how it will work for my more product-related blogs.
