Virtual Assistant Job Finds August 18 and Scam Alert
I know I mentioned that I’m only going to do this every Wednesday. But I just can’t wait until Wednesday to post all these job leads because they won’t be as fresh then. And this batch has lots of VA job leads with higher rate offers.
Talented Admin Assistant for an Inventor
Travel Counselor ($10/hour)
Marriott International Front Desk ($17-$33/hour)
The Melrose Hotels Part Time Receptionist ($19-$34/hour)
Telemarketer ($20/appointment)
Virtual Assistant-Certification Administrator ($25-$30/hour)
Telecommuting Administrative Assistant ($13-$17/hour)
Administrator or Executive Assistant ($15-$20/hour)
By the way if you happen to come across those admin job leads that have instructions that you send an email to addresses like —-@homefail.com and @greencouches.com or @emerald-cities.com, they sound scammish. That’s why I didn’t include them here.
Update: I sent an application letter to a homefail.com email add and I received a response that led me to a certain rhotel(dot)biz which doesn’t have any work-at-home job leads.
If you want to be home based customer service agent, an independent contractor or be a part of a virtual assistant company, you may want to subscribe to this blog’s RSS feed(how to use RSS) for job lead updates.

The majority of these roles are ‘employee’ roles, and not truly Virtual Assistant roles. VAs set their own rates and liaise with the client how the work is to be done. The majority of these positions state the rate that will be paid and in one case advises the role could become full-time which could provide tax issues for whomever takes the role, particularly if they wish to be self-employed. Another position has been flagged and removed.
I think what you’ve actually listed are more ‘virtual worker’ type roles which are more employee roles than virtual assistant roles.

Hi Kathie,
I see. I should be calling them virtual worker job finds, then. Thanks for enlightening me on this.
But getting jobs like these can still be good training for those who’d want to become real VA’s soon, right?
