Scam Signs: Legitimate Christian Work-at-Home Jobs
Aside from knowing that telecommute opening that’s requiring you to send a picture of yourself is usually a shady offer, here is another way to know that you are about to send yourself to home-based hell – look out for these adjectives:
1. Legitimate
Unless you really know the source of these jobs, most probably if you use the search engine and land on sites advertising jobs this way – “Legitimate work at home job!” or using any derivatives of the adjective legitimate such as legit or some synonyms like “real”, it’s a scam.
2. Christian
UnChristian-like people are now using the term “Christian” such as “Christian work at home business” to bait people who are simply looking for good business opportunities. I don’t find anything Christian with the opportunities posted on sites that I find when using those search terms.
When you get to these sites, they usually sell listings that promise to be scam-free or you have to pay to sign up for certain home based jobs. Although I’m not really sure if these job listings really deliver what they promise, I don’t like it that you have to pay for them. Unless they’re really targeted say, listing of companies that hire work at home medical transcriptionists or say if it comes with consultation to increase your chances of getting these types of jobs, which is a great value-added service package, don’t you think?
