Top 10 Work-at-Home and Making Money Online Blogs
As I promised on my post regarding RSS’ use in finding you home based jobs , here is my list of favorite blogs dealing with subjects like making money online, freelancing, and working at home: (in no particular order)
Just Make Money Online - Shai Coggins’ blog on making money online containing how-to’s and reviews of various online money making ad networks and services. I particularly love its Open Mic Mondays and polls.
Contract Worker - Rico Mossesgeld’s blog sharing his wisdom as a contract worker himself. This blog has more of the I’ve-been-there-done-that-so-don’t-do-this-in-stead-do-that flavor that many freelancers will definitely appreciate.
Yugatech - Abe Olandres’ technology blog that informs Filipinos on how to get the most out of technology and earn money on the side. He ocassionally reviews services or products that can help bloggers make money from their blogs.
Problogger - Darren Rowse’s tips on how to earn a living or just some extra money from your blog. Learn how to earn six figures from blogging straight from the six figure earner himself.
Work from Home Momma - Laura Spencer’s blog is ideal for moms and even those are not moms yet who are looking to read some insightful information on how to go about working from home while maintaining work/life balance.
John Chow - The father of all evil, er, those who are aspiring to make money online. Learn how he outperforms himself and get inspired, too, with his monthly online earnings reports AND how he gracefully accepted that his days of outsmarting Google is over.
Dosh Dosh - Maki’s blog on how to make money online. From reviewing AdSense ready Wordpress themes to how to increase Text Link Ads commission, you can expect the lengthiest and most detailed blog posts you’ll ever read.
Kumiko’s Cash Quest - Kumiko Suzuki’s blog contains lots of smart gimmicks that help educate others who’d like to make the most out of the profitability of the Internet. She posts her monthly making money online progress, too.
FreelanceSwitch - a relatively new but very successful blog about tips on making it as a freelancer. It also has interviews of accomplished freelancers that everyone who’s aspiring to achieve his self-employment goals can learn from.
Web Worker Daily - Giga Om’s group blog showcases productivity tips for freelancers of all types and its information on GTD software and home office tools is simply invaluable.
Please add more to my list if you know more interesting blogs on making money online while at home.

Thank-you for including me on this list!
I was totally surprised (and pleased) to find myself on a list with such blogging stars as Dosh Dosh, ProBlogger, and John Chow (not to mention the ever helpful Freelance Switch)!
You totally captured what I’m trying to do in your description of my blog too. You made my Friday!

Laura,
No sweat! Thank YOU for blogging about great stuff for WAHMs! And I love your writing blog, too.
Hi Jennifer,
Working at home while taking care of the kids is a mighty mighty feat that I’m not sure I can handle well. Moms are really brave!
Thanks for dropping by!

There’s a couple of UK based affiliate marketing blogs that I check every day:

And of course my own http://leavingthedayjob.blogspot.com which could well be rapidly turning into “how not to make money online”

This is a fabulous list though I’m surprised you left off Deb Ng’s freelance writing jobs blog which is huge and offers jobs leads and tips to thousands.
All the usual suspects are here. This a great resource.

actually the Work From Home momma blog has crashed since Deb Ng left it. The new writer is kinda dry and lacking. I’m not impressed and tend to expect more from Kow More MEdia

@ LeavingTheDayJob
Thanks for mentioning those links. Will check them out.
@Melissa
Yeah, how can I forget about Deb’s blog?! But I do have a new post that will highlight better Deb’s efforts. Thanks for reminding me, though.
@Nala
I respect your opinion. But I think Laura, the new blogger for WFHM is doing great. But everyone can always make use of feedback, good or bad, every now and then to be challenged to improve more their craft.
