An Interesting Work from Home Job and the 4 Hour WorkWeek
While doing my regular scouring of the web for job leads, I found this fun-sounding home based job from Craigslist, it’s entitled Looking for “online dating assistant” to work from home. Here are its specifics in case it expires before you get to read this.
I am a young professional based in USA. I do not have time to reply to online dating ads etc. I would like to hire someone offshore to assist with following:
-Email replies to online profiles
-Post ads
-Set up dates etc
You must have excellent command over WRITTEN english. I will be communicating with you on phone & email. You will be paid monthly. I am looking for someone who can work 4 hours a day. Please reply with -Why you should be selected
-Your age
-online dating experience
-Salary expectactions in US dollors
Keywords : work from home, telecommute, tele commute
I believe these kinds of jobs were inspired by Timothy Ferriss’ “The 4-Hour Workweek” book, which is currently on my to-buy list. “The 4-Hour WorkWeek” is all about outsourcing your life, which may or may not be cool to many. Should Filipinos thank Tim Ferriss for writing this book? Did the outsourcing industry just get a lot lucrative because of his book? I wish I can find stats.
How interesting could saying that your job is answering online dating ads get?
