Top Apple Door Says NO to Bundy Clocks Posts 2006
It’s been a great, although spotty, blogging year for me. To all those who have visited this blog and found it great, thanks for the appreciation. Just a recap of the work at home tips and tidbits that have the most readers’ ogles, here’s this blog’s Top 5 posts this year:
5. Medical and general transcription business planners and most likely work from home transcriber job hunters found the General Transcriptionist as a Home Based Job post as worthy of a go-see or a see-read or a whatever. Other great source of transcriptions jobs? MT Forums and virtual assistant forums. Job sites such as JobsDB, Jobstreet, and esp. BestJobs are teeming with medical transcription jobs although not home-based, they can be great training grounds. MT schools abound, too.
4. And speaking of job sites, the tip on How to Bag a Job through Jobstreet is one that garnered lots of eyeballs, too. Bugged by questions like, “What type of leadership style do you use and how effective is it?” and “What was the outcome when you had to take a lead in an important project?” Yahoo! Answers might help! or not! Hehe.. Seriously, if you want to come up with some decent answers to these sort of interview questions, please don’t be copying answers straight from the Internet. It might backfire you know. Try to remember your own job experiences that deal with such situations.
3. Companies Offering Telecommute Option made it to the top, too. I know I promised to update this for my fellow Filipinos looking for Philippine-based companies that offer telecommuting and I will be fulfilling that promise next year.
2. Effects of brain drain is the second top post. As I’ve been advocating I fervently hope this blog could somewhat help on preventing skilled Filipinos from fleeing the country.
1. Work at home Philippines hits the number one spot, which more or less sums up the essence of this blog. To inform Filipinos about how a home sweet home can free him from the cubicle-ostrophobia and improve his work/life balance.
Hope that you continue to enjoy this blog. And welcome to my new readers, too. Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to everyone!
