5 Scams Targetting Work from Home Job Searchers
Â

Â
Oooh don’t we all just hate work from home scams! Stay away from these 5 more work from home scams that are aimed at work from home job hunters:
1. Nigerian check cashing scam.
I know many of us have been receiving these e-mails from various scammers with email titles such as ”from Col. Om Burka”, “I need help with my inheritance” or something to that effect. If you haven’t, don’t even bother opening them.
2. Reshipping scams.
E-mails offering you to reship any item to another address can make you “guilty” of receiving and shipping stolen property.
3. Envelope stuffing scams.
Again, as I’ve been warning everyone, “registration fees”, “one-time fees”, and other friggin’ fees are red flags.
4. Paid work-at-home job lists.
Read tip no. 3 description.
5. Phishing scams.
“Paypal corporation requesting you confirm your contact information.” Puh-leez…
