What Can Help You Get a Job via Jobstreet
Jobstreet may not have too many work from home jobs available. However, if you have come across one and you’re dying to grab a tip or two on how to improve your chances of getting hired or at least reaching the interview invitation stage, you have to know that a neat telecommute cover letter can help. But that’s not all, this other interview-winning trick might give you the edge, too:
Give your best shot in answering the compulsory interview question.
After logging in to your Jobstreet account it says, “This is a compulsory section. Your answer will be used to evaluate your application.”
Taking it for granted, say, answering “Judge me.” when asked to describe what qualities you have that qualify you for the job, is one surefire way to forget about being called for an interview.
I know it because I and my guy, (he asked for my help in answering the abovementioned question) got hired through Jobstreet and his answer to the interview question counted a lot for his getting an interview. Says who? Says the Human Resource staff herself.
Another common question I’ve encountered from that compulsory section of Jobstreet is, “What are you oftentimes criticised for? How did you react to them?”
That should give you an idea on what to make your geeky friends to answer, er, I mean what you should start contemplating on.
K.I.S.S.ing it should help since that’s what I and my guy did – Keeping It Short and Simple, you… No epic-long answers please since there’s a limit to the number of characters you can use – 2000.
Update: If you want to prepare yourself further for an actual face-to-face interview or would just like to learn more about pointers on how to answer common interview questions. This list of 50 common interview questions with some helpful tips on answering them will surely be a great read for you job hunter.
Good luck!
