5 Part-Time Gigs to Try
Racketeers, sideline-addicts, gigsters, hear ye, hear ye.. After rummaging through business websites, here is a list of 5 Part-Time Biz Ideas that anyone who has the knack for doing anything part-time will definitely not mind scanning on.
1. Buying and Selling Antiques
One’s trash is another’s s*#t. Ooops.. I mean treasure. This is especially feasible for those who have a keen eye on distinguishing what’s phony and what’s real. If you see your friend’s mom using that century-old coal-fueled flat iron, don’t forget to tell her that if she’ll ever need some cash you’ll be more than willing to help her.
2. Computer Tutor
Many are still computer-illiterate I’m telling you. Many kids may know how to play Ragnarok and teens SIM, but not many of them, especially them adults know how to even turn on the PC. Don’t forget to post that part-time computer tutor banner and your contact number somewhere with good foot traffic.
3. Dance Instructor
Teaching samba, flamenco or any other kind of ballroom dance will be cool especially for the oldies trying to avoid, or sometimes even aggravate their osteoporosis. Just kidding! Even young adults are now getting themselves hot for the dancefloor and would not mind having some dance lessons.
4. Writing for the Web
Many passionate writers prefer freelancing over a 9 to 5 job. But if you have a regular job but would also like to venture on writing as a sideline, there’s no harm in trying ghostwriting web content or blogging.
5. Jewelry Design
Bead-savvy? Or swarovski-enthralled? The generic way to do this is to make jewelry for your self or as gifts for friends and if they get noticed, voila! Start getting orders!
Well, maybe for the more learned racketeer most of the abovementioned part-time businesses were old news. Care to suggest more of your own methods of earning part-time? For more part-time business ideas, visit Entrepreneur.com.

Hi Christine,
I mentioned holding part-time computer tutorial lessons as a “sideline idea” not as a job opening. It’s not under my homebased job post category. I’m sorry if my post misled you.
Thanks for visiting though.
